An actionable rating system (for books)

Here's how my actionable rating system works for books: 5 stars means: I recommend owning this book as part of your permanent library. (Note that good, rare books are more likely to get 5 stars than good books which are available at the bookstore or Amazon.) 4 stars means: I recommend buying this book, but not necessarily keeping it. 3 stars means: I recommend borrowing this book from a friend. 2 stars means: I recommend borrowing this book from the library. 1 star means: I do not recommend reading this book.
